I sort of threw myself into stamp collecting. It was suggested to me, and I've found it very fulfilling. I am a total amateur though, and I think I need to keep and organize my stamps in more than a shoe box.
Many sites advertise packages of supplies, including various tongs/tweezers, guide books, and albums. Apparently stamp albums are not the same as baseball card albums, and "stamp hinges" are an important element. I have thought about getting some nice paper in a three ring binder that I put the stamps in, but I worry that won't be good enough.
Would a binder like this one be good enough?

There is something fun about being part of such a classic hobby.
Getting older has provided me with some of the best opportunities to let loose and have fun. When I was younger there was so much pressure to look "cool" or "hip" and to act a certain way to fit in. Now? Now I just don't care.
US stamp prices go up every year, it feels like. I guess, just like everything, they are privy to inflation. It is nice to not have to buy them so often, anymore, as letters seem to be becoming obsolete.
This was my first trip across the pond and I had no idea what to expect. When I landed my cousin Deb had one of those goofy signs with my name on it. Fortunately, I recognized her even without the sign.
