Cook An Entire Meal In One Cast-Iron Skillet

Anyone who cooks even a little bit knows how amazing a cast iron skillet is. It's big, it's sturdy and it's so versatile. In fact, I've cooked entire dinners using only my skillet.
So after I cooked the noodles, I set them aside and saved the starchy water. Threw some olive oil, flour, onions and garlic in the pan and started a sauce. Then I added marsala wine, my starchy water and some chicken stock. Once it was mixed and simmering and delicious, I added mushrooms and raw shrimp.
I was so excited about my one-skillet dinner, I had to try it again. This time, I started with onions and garlic, then added cauliflower, a fish filet and some sliced polenta.
We've also done steaks, spinach and potatoes in the skillet. Have you tried making dinner using only your cast iron skillet? I'd love to hear some other ideas. Thanks everyone!
It all started one rainy night when I decided I had to make marsala. So first thing I did was boil some penne noodles in the skillet. Don't bother with boiling the water first; just put in the raw noodles and cover them with cold water. Add a little salt, turn up the heat and let them cook until they're nice and soft.
Once the shrimp and mushrooms were cooked, I added parmesan cheese and the penne. Then my husband and I opened a white and watched the rain fall while we ate dinner out of the skillet.
