While I am an avid yoga enthusiast, many of my friends have never taken a yoga class before. Some of them one day were telling me that they have trouble sleeping due to muscle tension. Bhujangasana was the answer.
Bhujangasana pose is also known as the snake, where you lie on your stomach with your palms flat on the floor. You then move your arms slowly and push yourself up from the floor, stretching out your back and lifting your chest up. You can also lift your face up to stretch out your neck as well. When dome before bed, you can loosen up and sleep better.
Taking time for peaceful moments in your day is very healthy
When you master the snake, you can do a lot of different poses!
