You are anywhere near Tennessee and you have a day free, you owe it to yourself to spend at least an afternoon at Dollywood. You can say you don't like Dolly Parton, but everyone loves Dolly. Everyone.
Dollywood isn't your average theme park. It offers local crafts and music, as well as housing the Southern Gospel Museum and Hall of Fame. You really can't go wrong with this place, and it's a great southern treat compared to other parks' overly stereotypical and bland "rebel south" sections. Bring the wife, bring the kids, or just bring yourself.
Busch Gardens' fast pass system is much cheaper than that of other parks. However, theirs is split into a few different versions, notably the Busch Gardens Quick Queue and the Busch Gardens Quick Queue Junior.
Now this one may seem obvious, but if a park has one of these, then it is technically a "Fun Park". Keep in mind, all fun houses are in Fun Parks, but not all Fun Parks have fun houses. That part can be confusing, but if you do see a fun house you know for sure that you have a Fun Park.
You may have seen images or gifs of absurd theme park rides like this. They look totally real, and aren't too absurd to be completely out of the question. How many of these crazy rides are there? Where in the world are they? Are they even real? What's the deal with these things? Let's find out.
