Focaccia Will Be Your New Favorite After These Tips

I love bread. I'm like Oprah, I guess. Focaccia is way at the top of my bread list, because it's easy to use, especially for sandwiches, apps and pizza. Tip 1: press it for a sandwich.
If you press your focaccia, it won't make such a bready sandwich. You almost have to eat it open-faced if you don't press it because focaccia is so think. It's more like a panini and no, you don't need a panini press - just press it in a pan with a plate or lid or cutting board.
Tip 2: buy raw pizza dough to make your own focaccia pizza or bread without all the hassle. Just roll it out like you would for pizza, to your desired thickness, and poke holes in the top. Use lots of olive oil on the pan and the focaccia - the oil gives focaccia its nice crispiness.
Tip 3: top it with whatever you want and bake it at 450 until it's nice and brown. Now if you want more than plain bread, you've got options. You can go full pizza or do app flatbread.
I like to top it with any type of cheese, chopped olives, sundried tomatoes, caramelized onions and pine nuts - yum.
