Forget The Binocs And Try a Bird-Spotting Scope Instead

Bird-spotting scopes are expensive - typically more than $100 - but they are completely worth it if you like birdwatching. First thing is you can't really use a telescope unless you wanna see upside down birds.
Someone gave me one as a gift and I totally love it. I use it about once every few weeks. I pack a lunch, some wine and sunscreen and head out to my favorite marsh for a nice hike and some birdwatching. The scope has allowed me to see far more than I normally could with binocs. Thumbs up!
