Pretty texture, or hidden overalls design?

Girls' Overalls Have a Rich, Forgotten, And Often Forbidden History.

Girls' overalls. They exist, and in fact, they have existed for a very long time! Girls' overalls have been a part of female life since antiquity, and only today are we uncovering this knowledge.
When the women of ancient Peru discovered overalls, they knew they had to keep them secret. Peru of course was ahead of its time in terms of garments, what with their high altitude settlements being perfect for stringing clotheslines. The chosen warrior of the overalls was sent to spread word of their invention around the Earth.
Overalls were important, and it was vital the men did not know of them. Why do you think this hidden history of overalls is so hidden? Men are the ones writing the history books.
Women dressed incredibly conservatively centuries ago, and this was not without reason. The thick layers of clothing helped conceal the women's overalls without suspicion.
But this method of hiding worked too well, and with the advent of the telegraph and the telegram, women had to become even more secretive about their overalls. Thus, the practice was passed down less and less, until most women of today have forgotten about the rich history of girls' overalls. At least until today.
So did the Levi Strauss company steal the design for overalls from the women? It is hard to say. They very well could have, or they may have discovered them via trial and error.
Note how the Incan men do not wear overalls.

One would never think to look for overalls under those dresses. Clever!
