I was skeptical of digital watches at first. I thought the classic watch would do the trick. That was until I spoke to a man while I was checking out at Nordstrom. I was there buying a regular watch for myself.
That's when I noticed my the watch on the cashier's wrist. It was sleek and gorgeous. I asked what he was wearing. He was so excited to tell me all about his Apple watch. He told me it was waterproof, had GPS and could answer iPhone calls. I thought it was impossible until he answered a phone call right before my eyes. I was sold and bought one.
“He was so excited to tell me all about his Apple watch.”
In our present day we are in a moment of astronomically priced watches. When I was growing up my father wore the same Classic Casio watch every day. He never even aspired to the luxuries of an Audemars Piguet or Bulgari.
My grandfather is a collector of pocket watches. He has a great collection, but was never able to afford something really grand. For his 80th birthday all of his grandkids are pitching in for a rare pocket watch. But none of us know anything about pocket watches and we do not want to get ripped off. Would love suggestions on something nice.
I wanted to get a friend of mine a watch for his birthday, so I headed over to Macy's since it was closest to me. I needed to look at the gold watches for men. He's a great friend, a long time friend, he deserves it.
Buying a watch can be overwhelming; I know this from experience. I wanted to get my mom a new watch for her 60th birthday. She’d recently lost her old watch of 35 years while on a cruise, so I knew a new watch would be the perfect gift.
