A full Kabaddi court in India

I was looking up tag leagues and found Kabaddi.

I used to love playing tag as a kid. Any variation on it, too, I was down. My sister and I would gather all of the neighborhood kids together on the weekends and we'd play an epic game.
I was looking online to see if there were any tag leagues in the area and I stumbled upon this really cool sport that is the national sport of Bangladesh; it's called Kabaddi. So, in this sport, one player is labeled the "raider" and has to raid the other team's side of the court and tag out as many people as possible.
A caveat is that it's a full contact sport. So, they need to tag as many people out as possible before they get destroyed by the players on the team that they're attempting to tag out.
Players can re-enter the game when their team scores a point by tagging out someone else on the opposing team. It's a pretty back and forth sport, but if you're good at it, it's brutal.
The level of contact seems akin to rugby in a way. I think I really want to play this. I might see if some of my friends would be down to play. You need two teams of seven (according to the rules), and that doesn't seem that hard. If we do co-ed, we could maybe use flags like they do in flag football.
They even have a World Cup Championship and a Women's league. This sport is so simple in it's design and I think that's why it seems like so much fun-- it's nostalgic!
They don't even have any pads on!

It's such a contact sport! How intense and what a great kick!
