Just because something is made for a woman, doesn't mean we always need to have it in pinks and purples. Don't get me wrong-- I think those colors are quite lovely, but not on my hiking shoes.
I know many people like that about female specific items, and that's the beauty of choice. But I feel that it's a bit over-used and shoved down our throats a bit. Yes, I am a woman, I am feminine, I do enjoy girly things. I don't need to have "girl colors" in all aspects of my life. For hiking shoes, I would prefer gender-neutral tones.
