In Greek mythology, the Trojan War was the result of a quarrel between goddesses after Eris (goddess of discord) gave them a golden apple for 'the fairest'. Zeus asked Paris to judge, who selected Aphrodite as fairest.
Hmmm, judging women based on looks? Well that sounds vaguely familiar, doesn't it? This notion is really embedded in our culture and has been for thousands of years. Time to change that, I think. Or how about we make men parade around while we judge them on their looks for a change?
Forget Paris. He was judgey.
Aphrodite, the winner
“How bout we start judging men on their looks for a change?”
