Just a little list of some of my favorite kids books growing up.

Duh!

Poky Little Puppy

This was my absolute favorite book as a kid growing up. The Poky Little Puppy is about a silly little pup who hangs out by himself and eludes danger AND gets dessert every night when he comes home, while his brothers and sisters go to bed without. Until the end... he gets caught!
The Berenstain Bears and the Messy Room

The Berenstain Bears

Anything Berenstain Bears was fine in my book. I loved the stories, the pictures, everything. I'm positive that it was spelled "BerenstEin" not "BerenstAin" bears. There's a whole conspiracy on this that there was a break in the time shift or something like that. Go look it up. It's crazy!
Just Grandpa and Me

Just Grandpa

This book my Grandpa gave to me, because we got to spend so much time together. It really hit home for me and still makes me feel a little teary when I see it.
If you give a Mouse a cookie by Laura Joffe Numeroff

If you give a mouse...

"If you give a mouse a cookie" should be on everyone's list! This was the book my Mom read to me at night when I was a kid. Well, when she would put me to bed, which wasn't too often, but I cherished those moments with her. I loved listening to her act out the little mouse as he kept asking for things. The lesson here is to be happy w/what you have instead of continually wanting more-- that's how I took it, at least.
Clifford the Champion by Norman Bridwell

Clifford!

I loved the "Clifford" books growing up! There wasn't one specific one, but all of them were really dope. That big red dog got into a lot of trouble (fun)!
It's not easy being a bunny

PJ Funny Bunny

The "PJ Funny Bunny" series was awesome, you guys! This little bunny got into so much mischief AND learned lessons at the same time. I loved reading these as a kiddo.
The Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss

Dr. Seuss

Last, but certainly not least, is "The Cat in the Hat" by Dr. Seuss; any Dr. Seuss book, really. They were so much fun to read and to hear the made up words aloud.
