One of my favorite places to go fishing is in Arizona. It seems strange that a desert would have so many lakes to choose from. One of my favorites being Lake Havasu.
Fishing in Lake Havasu is unlike any of the many other lakes in Arizona because there is a huge variety of fish to be found. Some of the fish include striped bass, catfish, sunfish and flathead fish. Many of these freshwater fish find their way to Lake Havasu through route of the Colorado River.
Sometimes fishing in the desert heat can be tough. Lake Havasu also offers ways to cool by tubing or swimming to cool down while taking a break from fishing.
Fishing in this environment is unlike any other fishing area because Lake Havasu forms the border between California and Arizona. There's something special about that.
