Sometimes when you're the greatest athlete of your generation people don't see you as human. They think because you've dedicated your whole life to one sport you can't be knowledgable on other subjects; or at least
they pretend to. Not matter how hard LeBron James has tried to humanize himself people still don't give him the respect he deserves. When he speaks about politics they tell him to focus on basketball instead, but don't we all discuss politics without being politicians? Don't we have a president who never held political office until now?
This is a great organization that focuses on the efforts of the team, rather than on an individual. Everyone gets a chance to grow and build skills. The program helps kids (boys and girls) develop skills for life.
There are so many amazing types of martial arts, but they can blend together for me a bit when I try to read about their differences. I was thinking of starting karate, but maybe there's a better fit for me. Thanks!
My dad loved baseball. He played as a kid, as a teen, and even still as an adult. He played in a local recreational league along with several of his work buddies. My mom and I would go and support his games almost every Tuesday night.
