Major Guatemala volcano, The Volcan de Fuego, or "Volcano of Fire," erupted around 4pm on Sunday afternoon. The lava eruption has blanketed parts of Guatemala with it continuing to spread as of today.
Escape routes have been cut off and people are left without power, water, internet, etc. As of today, Monday morning, 38 people have been reported as dead from the ash and lava flow throughout the city. Firefighters spoke on watching people burn alive because they were unable to reach them to save them on time. This story is developing.
