Did you know there are several misspelled names on the Stanley Cup? The winning team in 1980-81, for example, was The New York Islanders, which is misspelled as "Ilanders".
Even crazier, is that sometimes people try to sneak names onto the Cup. Since the NHL has a limit of 52 names to be engraved on the trophy per winning team, it's assumed that everyone submitted is involved with the team in some way. In 1984, Peter Pocklington, owner of the Oilers, put his dad's name on it! It was X'd out w/actual "x's" on the Cup.

Peter Pocklington had his father's name engraved-- which was later X'd out.
Soccer is a great sport for kids, starting at age 5. Some kids start a little later, you really need to make judgement call on your own kiddo, there. Soccer is great for team building and coordination with motor skills (in the feet). It helps them build up reaction time, too.
This is a great organization that focuses on the efforts of the team, rather than on an individual. Everyone gets a chance to grow and build skills. The program helps kids (boys and girls) develop skills for life.
My son just started little league baseball this year & he was so nervous about it. He's 8 & a little shy. He was scared about how he would play & if the other kids on the team would make fun of him if he wasn't any good.
