I really enjoy hiking but I haven't really done it too much abroad. I'm thinking my next big adventure will be to hike Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. I've been looking into it and there are specific shots you need to get.
Not a fan of needles, but I understand it's for my own safety. I've also been looking at maps of Mount Kilimanjaro. I'm kind of a map geek anyways, so looking at the topography and terrain has been a nice mental prep for when I decided to finally pull that trigger. My wife might come along with me and I hope she does. It would be more fun together!

I'm from Georgia but my family and I now live in Denver. Something I really love about Colorado is the scenic views and the hiking. It's something I've really grown to love since living here and now my kids are old enough to tag along.
I can get really frustrated with the dividing up of goods for sale based on gender-type. I'm looking into new hiking shoes and they are divided up into men's and women's. This phenomenon makes little sense to me.
I live in sunny, Southern California. I can sail and be outside pretty much any time of the year I'd like to. It's amazing. Another passion of mine is hiking. It's hard not to get into hiking out here.
When you have children, and you enjoy hiking, a hiking first aid kit is essential! The little ones are always falling or jumping on rocks and scraping their knees, so it's important to have disinfectant and band-aids en mass! Here is a list of my go-to first aid kit items.
