My granddaughter was over the other day and she was studying electromagnets for her fourth grade class. I sat down with her to see what it as all about it. I consider myself a very smart woman but I'm confused.
I'm so impressed with her. She fully understood the homework she was working on. She even tried to explain to me what an electromagnet was-- it's a magnet whose magnetic field is made entirely by a current. Usually the current comes from a coiled wire. That's about as far as I understood! I hope she'll be a scientist some day! She's already so smart.
A basic graph.
