Heck, no boats are on the same level as pontoon boats. For any generally calm body of water, pontoon boats are the only way to go. The ride is always smooth, so seasickness isn't an issue.
Pontoon boats are easily my favorite thing to fish off of. It's like having the stability of the dock, but with the mobility of a boat. Call me a wimp if you like, I don't care. I'm not going out on a boat to prove anything, I'm going out to have a good time and maybe catch some fish to fry up for dinner in a few hours.
The lowly pontoons carry the boat proper above the waves.
Only with the level base of a pontoon boat is a hot tub at sea possible.
“The stability of the dock, with the mobility of a boat.”
Wow, it looks like everybody appreciates pontoon boats.
Like a shoe box sitting on top of a couple canoes.
I love my little catamaran that I take out onto the lake, but I always wanted me own trimaran. It would so fun to be the Captain of a ferry boat. Maybe that's just me, but there is something romantic about it.
"I really don't know why it is that all of us are so committed to the sea, except I think it is because in addition to the fact that the sea changes and the light changes, it is because we all came from the sea.
I've been kayaking for almost ten years now. I started in my early twenties when I lived on the West coast in San Diego, CA. San Diego has so much to do in terms of water sports; well, other things as well. It's a dope city.
Hi there! My husband and I enjoy tandem kayaking when we can get away from the kiddos! We live in Malibu and have been to most of the surrounding areas. Where should we go next? We enjoy small day trips. Thanks for your input!
As a busy executive, Mother, and wife, I need to find things that relax me; where I can wind down and recharge. Being out on my fishing canoe does just that for me. A fishing canoe is a bit smaller in width than a regular fishing boat.
