The most fun I've ever had a flea market was at the Sunny Flea Market in Houston, Texas. I'm not a big flea market kind of guy, but my wife absolutely loves to dig for treasures.
The Sunny Flea Market is held over 35-acres of land with about 50,000 visitors each week! When I asked, I was told it's one of the largest open-air markets in the country. Don't let that daunt you, though! They have the most authentic Mexican food prepared on the spot; if you like spicy fajitas, you have to go!
We had our daughter with us when we were visiting and the beautiful thing about this market is that they had so many kid-friendly activities; they had pony rides and a carousal and even face painting. Stacey got a cute little cat playing with a tiny butterfly on her face. She was so proud to show it off as we walked around.
I was in need of a hair cut, so color me surprised when there was a barber there to do it! I have never seen that before at a flea market. They have thought of everything there!
My wife picked up some amazing local beauty supplies which she continues to order to this day. You have to make it there!
