Of all the Yosemite hikes, the one I gravitate towards the most is the Mount Washburn hike. It's a little less than seven miles round trip and isn't very hard. It's an easy gradient, so it's quite pleasant, actually.
The views once you get to the top of Mount Washburn are so breathtaking, you'll feel like you're standing on top of the world. You can see for miles on end; make sure to bring your camera! While this is an easy trail to hike, the weather can be fickle, so just remember to pack for all types of inclement weather. Make sure to always bring snacks, too!

I'd love to get back to Hawaii at some point. The only time I ever went was on my honeymoon to Morty back in 1972. We then had kids and life kind of got away from us, as it does. Plus, it was easier to take a vacation somewhere closer.
My husband and I both love to hike. We live in the Pacific Northwest so the views are always breathtaking, green, and lush. As we take our hikes more seriously we've invested in gear but I never had a backpack.
In college, a few buddies and I went to Africa and while we were there we went on a private safari out of Botswana. It's where I met a lion in person, which was one of the most life-changing experiences I could ever dream of.
