On a recent business trip to Houston, I stopped at the Houston Flea Market. I always try to stop at a flea market in town and pick up my wife some sort of knick knack. She has always loved flea markets.
So, I like her to know I'm always thinking of her. I guess I'm a bit of a romantic that way. This flea market was different because they had a lot to do! There were clown shows, pony rides and even karaoke! They usually have live bands as well, but I missed them when I went. I do love karaoke though. I may have sung a song or two.
Fun figurines at the market.
People dancing! So fun to watch.

Claire would have loved this flea market. Next time!
What exactly separates vintage from antique can be up for debate. Generally, vintage is somewhat old, but not as old as an antique. Of course your thoughts on what's vintage vs what's antique will likely differ depending on what age you are and what you grew up with.
Not sure why I have been into flea markets lately, but I am. There's a nostalgia for being a kid, living poor, & my parents taking me to these places. They're great. The Pomona Swap meet that happens 7 times per year.
I've been to my fair share of flea markets around the world and I know I have my personal favorites, Rose Bowl Flea Market, Marché aux Puces and Bushwick Flea. Would love to hear other people’s favorites as I'm always looking for new ones to visit.
