Most of us know the first law of thermodynamics, right? Energy cannot be created or destroyed in a contained system. It can only change forms. So you can see it everywhere, of course.
For example, your fridge uses thermodynamics, specifically, the 2nd law of thermodynamics. So do heat pumps, fans and air-conditioners. Gasoline and diesel engines run on the laws of thermodynamics as well. Pretty cool how physics is so embedded in our everyday lives.
“From fridges to engines, thermodynamics is everywhere.”
