Our ranch isn't your traditional livestock "ranch". Ours are members of our family, each-and-everyone of our livestock are directly related to an ancestral lineage dating to the 1700s.
While part of our farm has been owned by the BLM, the Hale's have run the land pre-1776. Our family has Native American Indian roots, which like the rest of Oklahoma, was Indian Territory predating the Civil War. The land got pretty torn-up back in the day, but we've brought it back to life since then.
Over the course of the past 200 years, since end of the Civil War, we've breeded what livestock was left and held onto each dearly, because they are one of our own. Each is family.
There's Jasper, Patsy, Frances, Kathy, Spots, Trepid, Cop, Runner, Cubby, Kennedy, Buck, Trailer, Katy, Unicorn, Fly-by-Night and Jack-in-the-box, Gilly, Angel, Fred, Macks and Catch22.
