The NBA 2018 finals start tonight, Thursday, May 31st. The Cleveland Cavaliers (Go Cavs!) are facing off against the Golden State Warriors for the fourth consecutive year in a row.
The odds are stacked really high against the Cavaliers this year (basically impossible odds), because they've had zero consistency as a team this season. I take that back-- the ONLY consistency the Cavs have had is LeBron James has been in the starting lineup for each of the 29 variations that they've attempted.
Since the Cavs have had zero time to really get a cohesive starting lineup going and even having turnarounds on the coaching staff, I predict that the Warriors are coming into this as
way too confident for their own good. Over-confidence is detrimental to good team-play (and really anything in life) because you start to overlook or take for granted the easier things.
