My wife has a cousin that lives in Jackson, New Jersey. When Stacey was eight, we went to visit them. They mentioned we should all head to Six Flags Great Adventure while we were there.
That sounded good to us, as we enjoy a good theme park. It's one of Six Flags' so we were excited to get our tickets and go on a Tuesday. They had recently combined their theme park with their safari park and the place was huge-- we could have used more than one day to explore and have fun there. Now we know for next time.
We didn't get to do too much in the park that day. It was summertime, so lots of family vacations were happening. The park was so crowded that there were even lines for the bathroom.
We made the best of it and rode a few rides that were really fun. We enjoyed meeting some of the characters that walked around, too. We didn't realize that they have Hurricane Harbor!
