Courageous Diarist. Truth Seeker. Reporter. Child. Beloved.
One this day in 1947, a piece of literature that changed the world was published. The Diary of Anne Frank was a documented first-hand account of a young girl surviving in Nazi Germany. Her diary entries were addressed to “Kitty,” whom many interpret to be the fictional persona of her diary. By reading the book version, watching the film version, or seeing the theatrical adaptation, many people have gone on the emotional journey associated with her horrific experience of isolated hiding during WWII.
