Rubik's fascinating, puzzling, colorful, and sometimes frustrating cube took the world by storm in the 1980s. To date, over 350 million cubes have been sold all around the world. Many of these cubes remain unsolved to this day! Rubik's cube enthusiasts are known as "Cubers", and they meet every 2 years for the Rubik's World Championships. The current world record for solving a cube is 4.69 seconds. Yikes! Don't feel too intimidated though. Ern? Rubik (the creator of the cube) wasn't even sure the cube was solvable when he first invented it in 1974. It took him over a month to solve it for the first time. There are plenty of resources online to help you solve it in various ways. Happy cubing!
