Numismatics, Secrets, US History
American history is full of secret symbols and societies, many of which are still around today! (Looking at you, Freemasons.) One such symbol can be viewed for the low low price of one dollar. Literally. On the one dollar bill, in the upper right corner, you can see a tiny owl. The owl is on the opposite side of the dollar with George Washington's portrait, away from the prying eye of the freaky floating pyramid. What does this mysterious owl represent? Many postulate that it is the owl of Minerva, the Roman goddess of wisdom. Others argue that it's a small annoying detail to deter people from making counterfeit money. Will the owl ever divulge its secrets? Only time will tell.
