Before every DreamWorks movie, audiences are treated to a short scene featuring a boy fishing from the moon. This logo has been in use since DreamWorks was founded in 1994 by Jeffrey Katzenberg, Steven Spielberg, and David Geffen. (Hence the SKG in "DreamWorks SKG"). DreamWorks has released a wide variety of media, but is most well known for its animated features. Every animated movie featuring wacky takes on classic fairy tales can be traced back to DreamWorks' Shrek. The enigmatic "Moon Boy" has been fishing for over 20 years, though after recent buyouts he's now technically an employee of NBCUniversal. Somebody should probably tell him that acorns make for poor fishing bait.
