Whether it's striking from the sky as lightning, or being used to power a metropolis, nobody doubts the power of electricity. At some point, somebody saw this incredible force of nature and decided to hook it up to a toothbrush. These days, electric toothbrushes aren't thought of as anything special. Some people say they don't like using electric toothbrushes, as they're too hard on their teeth and gums. The noise they create can also be abrasive in the wee hours of the morning. Brushing one's teeth is supposed to be a twice a day ritual, and for some, the unease of putting a vibrating mini-robot in their mouth outweighs the benefits of an electric toothbrush.
