Bubble wrap is up there with those blocks of foam at the craft store that are there for keeping flowers in. You know they have a specific purpose, but you just can't resist poking at it. Bubble wrap is famous for its stress-relieving capabilities, as well as its protective prowess. Mailing a fragile crystal vase? Bubble wrap. Sending a care package with Grandma's incredibly crumbly cookies? Bubble wrap. Need to find something to entertain a toddler for a few minutes? Bubble wrap. The only downside to the stuff is the noise created by popping the bubbles. If somebody were to develop silent bubble wrap, they'd have made the best thing since sliced bread!
