Early November is a very special time for the United States, as it's when elections are held. All elections are exciting in their own way, and on this day 158 years ago, Abraham Lincoln was elected president by the American people. The election was especially heated, boasting the second highest voter turnout rate in United States history at a whopping 81.2 percent! Lincoln's election marked a major turning point for the United States of America, and today he is regarded as one of the greatest men to ever hold the office. (They don't let just anybody on the 5 dollar bill!) Today is one of these election days, and PASH encourages you to get out and vote!
