Film, Awards, Hollywood
November 9th, 2001 marked the opening of the Kodak (now Dolby) theater. The Kodak theater is best known for hosting the Academy Awards every year since it's opening. But Oscar speeches aren't the only thing that happen on the Kodak's stage. Various television shows like America's Got Talent and American Idol have made use of the famous theater, and throughout the year the theater serves as a venue for large-scale live events. If you've only seen the theater during the Oscars, you may be surprised to learn that the theater is one of the many attractions that line Hollywood Boulevard, on the walk of fame.
