Gen Con — the best four days in gaming — kicks off today at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis. More than 65,000 gamers are expected to attend this year’s Gen Con, making it the largest tabletop gaming convention in North America. Founded in 1968 by Gary Gygax, the late game designer who co-created Dungeons & Dragons, Gen Con offers attendees a chance to meet game publishers and participate in a variety of tournaments and interactive game sessions. Since its establishment more than five decades ago, Gen Con has evolved to support all categories of hobby games and family entertainment, offering entertainment for enthusiasts of all ages.
