“Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.” - Arnold Schwarzenegger, Austrian-American Actor and 38th Governor of California (2003-2011)
In honor of the 35th anniversary of “The Terminator” being released in theaters, PASH salutes the film’s star, Austrian-American actor, politician and bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger. After winning the professional men's bodybuilding contest Mr. Olympia seven times, Schwarzenegger transitioned to an acting career, taking on the title role in 1982’s hit fantasy film “Conan the Barbarian”. Two years later, Schwarzenegger starred in James Cameron’s sci-fi blockbuster “The Terminator”, a massively successful series that is still churning out sequels — the latest edition in the series, “Terminator: Dark Fate”, hits theaters November 1. After two decades of being one of Hollywood’s most in-demand action stars, Schwarzenegger pursued a career in politics, running successfully for governor of California in 2003 as a Republican candidate. Schwarzenegger served as California’s 38th governor from 2003 to 2011, and the “Governator” is still actively involved in politics after leaving public office and has returned to starring in major Hollywood films.
